middleberg is a peaceful and family friendly middle size town in the middle of the country where Frances and Darwin live but the state of the city of middleberg is never told and it is unknown what it is actually called but that all changes when the boogeyman comes to visit and take over the town until Frances proves that she still believes in her imageinary friend Zooey again that has turned into the boogeyman to terrorize Frances and her brother Darwin.
